Initially, the governance for BestShot will be made through a partially decentralized development of the protocol where governance token holders can alter only some aspects. So, essentially, the threshold for proposing governance change will be low in the beginning.

After some time of positive growth on the site and all of the time-locked tokens are distributed, the system will operate with a completely decentralized algorithm where changes or alterations can be proposed by token holders and can operate through a census agreement system of change the system.

After the switch to entirely decentralized, the aspect of the 1% protocol fee will always be left in place for normal site development and maintenance and ensure exceptional services for BestShot valued members, players, and users. The off-chain operation protocol fee is essential to maintain platform operations like the predictive engine, dynamic reward calculator, data collection, and the oracle interphase.
